Anime Matsuri Haul

Ay-yooo so I'm skipping the full Anime Matsuri experience post because I don't have much to bitch about really. It was a mostly positive experience other than the fact that it was highly disorganized. A lot of things were delayed up to an hour or more but that didn't really effect the panels I went to (which was like two). The SNK photoshoot was held back a couple of minutes and had to change locations due to the weather outside. The scanning of badges was a cool idea until it created a long ass single-filed line. A dumb fucking "guard" was hovering over me when I was in line for Reika because he was bitching non-stop about "being against the wall" when there wasn't any room to be against the walls. Like, get your balls off of me, your long leather black coat and wearing black sunglasses indoors makes you look like a douchebag, not scary. Despite the douchebaggery of the people there, I still had fun. I encountered Matthew Mercer (voice of Levi in SNK) near the elevators but was too chicken to go in with him, Reika was right in front of me, later on I got her autograph, and the one of guys from Nightmare was near me but I didn't notice until my cousin pointed it out and they were walking off. oops.
Anyway, that's a bit of my experience.
On to the haul!

I got this Chibi Moon chain for $5 from a vendor. I figured I can get this at the local Asian toy store down my street and get it for the same price or more idk so might as well buy it now

I FUCKING LOVE DEDENNE. I'm becoming reacquainted with Pokemon again and one of the newer Pokemons that caught my eye (besides the obvious Leafeon, Sylveon, and Espurr) was Dedenne. AND I FOUND A LOT OF VENDORS SELLING DEDENNE PLUSHIES. But a lot of them were rip offs. They were selling like key-chain sized (like a handful) plushies for $14 so I was disappointed and was really sad. This one, on the other hand, was $25 and is as large as a medium/large Alpacasso and I ended up buying it because my friend Doan saw the size and price comparison and convinced me because there wasn't a better deal than this.

I promised myself that I needed to come out with at least one or two phone charms and I did so yay. I believe this vendor in the artist alley has either storenvy or an etsy store??? I don't know their name though (I didn't take their card) but yeah this charm was $5 and by Sunday other charms like this one were dropped to $3 I believe.

Once again, another vendor in the artist alley. I promised myself I would by a squishy but a lot of the good ones were gone and there weren't any other vendors selling any squishies so I bought one of the cake squishies. Not all of it is squishy. The top pieces (the star tart, wafer, and fruit) are hard but it's still very fun to squish nonetheless. It's a phone charm as well. It was originally $7 but the artist offered it to me for $6 yay

Buttons. Fucking buttons, mayne. The Cas, Levi, and Harley were from a vendor in the artist alley and were for a dollar each. The Armin, survey corps crest, and Sailor Moon buttons were from a different vendor, each button $2 but buy 3 get them for $5 (wow such save).

Ah and then one of my crown jewels. This print. This artist is just omigosh amazing. He had a lot of Pokemon and Sailor Moon prints and baggies/purses. I got the print for $12. This is the only vendor whose name I know because I got his card

This isn't really the complete haul. I also got a phone charm for my mum and it was a toilet paper roll a cute poop attached to it (my reasoning was because "she wiped my crap when I was little")
Part of my haul is also the Reika autograph I got. Technically, the Reika autograph I have isn't the one I got signed. The one I got signed belonged to my friend who pre-ordered it and put it under my name because she couldn't be there. BUT since my other friend got two Reika autographs and I did her dead Marco makeup (that shit can go for $15 - $25 dollars ayyy) she gave me one of her autographs so yaaaayyyy!
And that's all of my haul (I think)!

Waiting for my lenses from PinkyParadise

Back in early February, almost exactly a month from now I won a giveaway that was sponsored by PinkyParadise. The giveaway holder was cherry-blossorn on tumblr.
I waited a few days because PP was closed until the 9th or 10th of February for Asian New Years break. I had to wait one or two extra days to get back with them (silly me, they got back with me as soon as they came back, their emails were just stuck in my spam).
Anyway, I chose these lenses
Anyway, I felt like posting about it because I'm still waiting. On the 13th of February they said they would ship it out and it would take 14 - 25 days. So the latest it should get here is this upcoming Thursday or Friday. ;~; Sad thing is I won't be here Friday, I'll be at Anime Matsuri.

Fun fact: My Seifuku from Spreepicky came!

Isn't it the cutest? cx
I'm thinking about reviewing at least the shirt because I can't fit into the skirt. I bought the seifuku in 2L knowing that the skirt won't fit so it'd give me motivation to work out. It's okay though because the shirt can go with other outfits in the meantime.

Random news: I drew Fetsu-Chan n.n

Not the best picture buuuuuuuuut I tried u.u

The amazing Solution-Lens.com and their giveaway!

So I've been an avid supporter of Solution-Lens for a while. I found them through their giveaway page a long time ago and participate in the giveaway every now or so. They're very generous to be doing this giveaway because it happens every month. At the end of every month, they choose their winner to receive a free pair of lenses from their website (you'll receive a free case, and if I re-call correctly, some goodies).
A while back I was asked to sponsor a pair of lenses from them and I chose Vassen (Super) Crystal Blue (re-upload of the review is right here). I was really pleased with their service, shipping was very fast, the packaging was very safe and the lenses were not damaged. Since then, I've been keeping their banner on my blog to show my support for this website. Here's a picture of me in the lenses I received.
Not so long ago (I'll say in about September of 2013) I purchased, or at least my friend purchased for me with my money, a pair of lenses from Solution-Lens (I unfortunately never got to review them but they were Vassen Crystal Pink so there wasn't much difference). Once again, their service was amazing and the lenses arrived on time, undamaged. And here's another picture with the lenses I received.
I have nothing but good things to say about them from my experience with them, really. Now about the store itself.
The website can be navigated easily. Everything is categorized in multiple ways so you can find what you're looking for. They have a wide variety of lenses from Geo, Vassen, and Dueba (G&G). Even Halloween/cosplay lenses from Geo are offered. It helps that they have such a variety because my eyes are dark, dark brown and I have to be exxxxtraaa picky about what lenses I buy and wear so that the color could be vibrant. The prices of  the lenses on the lenses on their website are affordable and they offer free shipping.
A few examples of the lenses they have (click on the pictures to view them on the site):
They also offer eye/lens care products:
And even various lens/travel cases:
Like seriously their store is the best. They even offer an value/gift set with 7 pairs of contacts (including cases and free express shipping)
Other offers include:
- Buy 2 pairs, get a pair free
- Buy 5 pairs, get 2 pairs free
- Buy 10 pairs, get 5 pairs free.
There are so many offers. Unfortunately, they only sell plano (-0 power) BUT they have some sort of offer where if you buy multiple lenses they'll offer you prescription. Plus they have a wholesale offer for those who want to sell lenses on their own.
I bet if you bothered reading this up to this point you're tired of the blabbering and just wanna know more about the giveaway. *sigh* Okay, fine.
As stated before, EVERY MONTH they hold a giveaway for a free pair of lenses.
How do you join this wonderfully awesome giveaway? I'll tell you.
-  Post this link on any social networking site. Different websites count as one entry, only one entry (link) per website. Very easy so far.
- Advertise! Write ten lines about their shop, their products and the giveaway! Still easy.
- Add three photos of their lenses (or the ones you'd like to get if you win). Wow. Such easy.
- Add their banner to your page (here's a list of their banners). A banner won't hurt your blog.
- Publish your giveaway link or Solution-Lens' page link on a popular forums such as here and here.
- Comment on their giveaway page with your entries.
Woah. It's that simple, brah.

So if you haven't already went to the website. click on the banneroo down below or the one on my side to go to their giveaway page.

Seriously if I haven't convinced you that this website is awesome then I spent two hours writing a thorough review/advertisement on the website for nothing. *tears stream down my face*

Shoe update: New boots from Shiekhs

By new boots I mean I've been having them about 2 to 3 weeks already and I was too lazy to say anything about them especially since I've only worn them two times each. This isn't really a review I just wanted to talk about them because I love them. *~*
So these boots are from Shiekhs, they have an online store but I did not buy them online. I went to the store at the mall and they were having a buy one pair, get another pair for one dollar. Their boots are not even that expensive either unless you buy knee-high boots or combat boots with studs on them. Like really their price range on boots are $20 - $50 bucks so you can see this is a really good deal.

So these are the boots I got at full price ($50 - they're probably cheaper now online)

So the side with the gold studs is somewhat of a false zipper. It doesn't unzip all the way but it can zip up, which I don't recommend because it straightens out the flaps with the studs and when that happens they fold inward instead of out and it hides the design (*cough* that was a poor explanation).
These boots are really comfortable and nice and warm. They're hotter without socks on.
The laces are adjustable and it helps the shoe get tighter which is cool because these boots go up to my calf almost and I have a huuuuuuuuge calf (huge legs in general). ;~;

The pair that I got for $1 are pretty basic but I wanted them for my cosplay and they're still pretty cute

there's not much to talk about. the inside has faux fur so it's nice and cozy. My only issue is that I have a huge foot so the tip of the shoe makes my toes feel closed-in but nothing too uncomfortable. I also made the mistake of wearing these without socks for a long period of time; the back of the shoe rubbed against my ankle to the point where it damaged/ripped my skin and irritated it for days. My ankle still feels a little weird like there's dead or damaged skin? idk but it doesn't make me love these shoes any less *~*
