[SPONSORED] REVIEW: Geo Mimi Cafe Latte Brown Circle Lenses from Pinky Paradise (old review from 11/15/2014)

10/22/2015 Edit: This review was made on November 15th, 2014 and some of the links could be outdated. I am currently in the process of transferring my reviews from tumblr to this blog as backup. From now on, I will be posting reviews both on tumblr and here. If you'd like early access on reviews though, more than likely they will be on my tumblr.

Hello! I will be doing my second review over Pinky Paradise but this is the first time I’ve been sponsored by them! The circle lenses I have chosen to review are the Geo Mimi Cafe Latte Brown (on dark brown eyes).
~Review below the cut~
Back in September, Pinky Paradise had a Halloween sponsorship promotion offer that bloggers could “apply” for and if they were qualified enough, they were emailed back and given a half off discount code to spread to followers for a limited amount of time and an opportunity to review a pair of their lenses. Unfortunately, I did have some complications when it came to shipping so that’s why this review is delayed and I wasn’t able to do vlogoween and a Halloween makeup tutorial like I wanted to. ;~;

So as stated before, I did have complications with the original lenses I wanted. I believe I was supposed to receive some bright green Halloween/cosplay lenses from Geo to go with my Beetlejuice costume and they were shipped out around September 18th but I notified Pinky Paradise on October 20th about how the lenses haven’t arrived to me and a day later they told me the the lenses probably got lost. They offered me to select a new pair, considering those lenses were sold out. Those lenses were sent out around October 21st and arrived to me November 7th. As the picture shows, the lenses were packaged in a standard bubble wrap lined envelope.
Package Contents:

The package contained a lens case, the circle lenses wrapped safely in foam wrap, and an extra goody (AKA velcro strips that help pull back your hair from your face).

The lenses are supposed to look like macarons (it’s my first time having this type of lens case so it’s nice to have something other than cute animal cases).

Final verdict:
Color: 8/10 - I would have liked if the color popped out a tiny bit more because of the interesting design it has (AKA a latte swirl). The inner parts of the design where it blends in with my (REALLY) dark brown eyes does appear slightly grayish and turn turns into a lighter brown than my own eyes. I’ve seen these lenses look beautiful on lighter (green and/or hazel) eyes. Color wasn’t a huge feature I was looking for because I expected as much for the color outcome and was more interested in the comfort and enlargement.
Enlargement: 10/10 - I love the Princess Mimi Bambi series due to their enlarging effects and I expected as much from the Mimi Cafe series. Because of how natural the lenses are, the enlargement doesn’t look so dynamic as the Bambi series, however, it is a pretty big noticeable difference considering the diameter is 15mm
Comfort: 10/10 - Once again, due to my experience with PM Bambi, I expected these lenses to be super comfortable and they were. However, I did not wear them longer than +20 minutes so I can’t speak for hourly comfortbility (however, if they’re anything like PM Bambi series or Geo lenses in general they would feel comfortable if being worn for long periods of time).
Shipping/Packaging: 7/10 - This is an overall score for the shipping not just the second time the lenses have been shipped (because in that case, I would’ve gave them 9/10). As stated before, the first package did get lost. Also, it makes me feel uncomfortable that I wasn’t given a tracking number for either packages sent (but from what I’ve learned afterwards, Pinky Paradise’s tracking codes don’t seem to work properly/doesn’t update at all, so….)
Customer Service: 10/10 - for the reasons stated previously in this post and below.
In general: 8/10 - I loved the lenses (although once again, they could’ve been a little more vibrant) and these will be my go-to lenses for everyday looks. There were a few complications but I do appreciate that Pinky Paradise helped resolve the issue by immediately replying, allowing me to chose a new pair and sending out the new pair very fast.
So you guys should really check out Pinky Paradise! They sell a wide variety of contact lenses (from normal circle lenses to special effects lenses such as sclera lenses and even torrid lenses) AND offers prescription on a majority of their contacts. On top of that, they do have a few cosmetics, circle lens care stuff, and accessories.
.And finally… worn photos/selfies!

[SPONSORED] REVIEW: 4VISION RARA GRAY ON DARK EYES (KLENSPOP)

Yooo~ I’m finally reviewing these lovely lenses sponsored by the wonderful KLensPop - see my post about their site here.

Stock Photo

I chose these lenses because of how cute the design looks and how pretty the gray looks. Also, I chose these because I haven’t seen a review for them yet.

Info About These Lenses:

Brand: 4VISION

Name: RARA (in gray)

Diameter: 14.5mm

Base Curve: 8.6mm

Water Content: 38%

Life Span: 1 year

These lenses were sent out either on the 8th or 9th of June (from Korea) and I got them on the 16th of June in the afternoon (but being the lazy person I am and lost track of time, I waited six days to review them. I’m so sorry! ;~; ). So these lenses got here pretty quickly!

The packaging:

What was inside the packaging:

Inside the packaging was the lenses in a box, a lens case (the actual lens case + rubber-tipped tweezers/tongs inside of it), and a small box off solution? eye drops? When I read different reviews they all said something different. Unfortunately for me I don’t read Korean to confirm this. (oh right this was all wrapped together in MULTIPLE layers of bubble-wrap so yes it was pretty safe).

The items up close:

Finally some comparison/lighting photos!

The final verdict~!

Color&Design: 10/10 - These lenses, like most lenses on KLensPop, are, are made for everyday use so they’re VERY natural but the gray on these lenses are so pretty, despite it being a natural looking gray. I thought the limbal ring would be weird, because it appears to be brown when looking at the lenses in their case, but the ring looks nice enough.

Enlargement: 10/10 - I never thought I’d be pleased with lenses any smaller than 15mm. I wasn’t even that fond of my Geo XCK105 that were 14.8mm. I don’t think i’d like these lenses if they were any bigger. Because of their design, limbal ring, and color, the enlargement is perfect. Any bigger would’ve probably been to freakishly.

Comfort: 10/10 - These lenses are really comfortable. I didn’t have no burning or any stingy feeling in my eyes for the 30 - 60 minutes I had them on (I didn’t have them on any longer because fans were pointing at my face and would’ve made the lenses dry out).

Overall: 10/10 - I love these lenses a lot. I never thought I’d actually like a pair of natural looking lenses on me. The shipping was wonderful the costumer service/communication was very good and I’d love to actually buy from this site one day!

Selfie time~

Review: Geo Ultra CK105 (XCK105) from PinkyParadise!

EDIT: This review has been stuck in my drafts for months and I won't change the wording/past tense of the entire review. Only editing I've done is revising and adding the pictures to the review. Sorry for the delay (not that anybody cares) but here's the review that's been stuck in my drafts!

A while back I won a PinkyParadise sponsored giveaway from cherry-blossorn on Tumblr. They arrived two weeks ago but due to me being lazy and I was recovering from a convention, I'm barely doing the review now

Info about the lenses:
Name: Ultra CK105 (XCK105) - these are the bigger version of the CK105
Manufacturer: Geo
Duration: One year
Water Content: 38%
Size in diameter: 14.8 mm
Base Curve: 8.6 mm

Packaging:
The usual basic, safe efficient packaging

The package included the lens vials (wrapped in the pink what-you-call-it thing), cute animal lens case, and those things in the color blue that hold back your hair whenever you put on makeup (man, I have terrible vocabulary in this review)!

Here are the lens vials~

The lenses in their vials

Lenses in their cute case~

Since these are black lenses (and my eyes are almost as black as the lenses oh dear) I figured it's so unnecessary to do a whole bunch of different types of light comparison, therefore I only have one close-up picture!

Color/Design:
10/10
These are the best as black circle lenses can be. My eye color is very similar, so my natural eye color doesn't show up through the clear pupil area. This just looks like my natural eyes but larger. It's a very natural look (welp, if you considered huge black doe-eyes natural).

Enlargement:
8/10
I have a weird bias against lenses smaller than my usual +15.00 mm. Yes, the enlargement is clear, but it's only 14.8 mm and it's not my thing. I really like having huge animu eyes. However, I do believe these provide a perfect enlargement for others who wear these.

Comfort:
10/10
Geo lenses are just undeniably comfortable, compared to Vassen/i.fairy lenses. These, of course, do dry out over long periods of time due to their size so, as always, eye drops are needed.

Overall:
10/10
These lenses do deliver. They're a perfect shade of black, they do enlarge and they don't cause me too much discomfort. They pass off as my natural eyes which is pretty neat. Although I've never made an actual purchase from Pinky Paradise (this isn't my first time winning a pair of lenses sponsored by them), I REALLY love their store. Their service is great, their selection is wonderful, and I love how they included a little gift in their package.

Now here are a few selfies with me having them on~

The amazing Solution-Lens.com and their giveaway!

So I've been an avid supporter of Solution-Lens for a while. I found them through their giveaway page a long time ago and participate in the giveaway every now or so. They're very generous to be doing this giveaway because it happens every month. At the end of every month, they choose their winner to receive a free pair of lenses from their website (you'll receive a free case, and if I re-call correctly, some goodies).
A while back I was asked to sponsor a pair of lenses from them and I chose Vassen (Super) Crystal Blue (re-upload of the review is right here). I was really pleased with their service, shipping was very fast, the packaging was very safe and the lenses were not damaged. Since then, I've been keeping their banner on my blog to show my support for this website. Here's a picture of me in the lenses I received.
Not so long ago (I'll say in about September of 2013) I purchased, or at least my friend purchased for me with my money, a pair of lenses from Solution-Lens (I unfortunately never got to review them but they were Vassen Crystal Pink so there wasn't much difference). Once again, their service was amazing and the lenses arrived on time, undamaged. And here's another picture with the lenses I received.
I have nothing but good things to say about them from my experience with them, really. Now about the store itself.
The website can be navigated easily. Everything is categorized in multiple ways so you can find what you're looking for. They have a wide variety of lenses from Geo, Vassen, and Dueba (G&G). Even Halloween/cosplay lenses from Geo are offered. It helps that they have such a variety because my eyes are dark, dark brown and I have to be exxxxtraaa picky about what lenses I buy and wear so that the color could be vibrant. The prices of  the lenses on the lenses on their website are affordable and they offer free shipping.
A few examples of the lenses they have (click on the pictures to view them on the site):
They also offer eye/lens care products:
And even various lens/travel cases:
Like seriously their store is the best. They even offer an value/gift set with 7 pairs of contacts (including cases and free express shipping)
Other offers include:
- Buy 2 pairs, get a pair free
- Buy 5 pairs, get 2 pairs free
- Buy 10 pairs, get 5 pairs free.
There are so many offers. Unfortunately, they only sell plano (-0 power) BUT they have some sort of offer where if you buy multiple lenses they'll offer you prescription. Plus they have a wholesale offer for those who want to sell lenses on their own.
I bet if you bothered reading this up to this point you're tired of the blabbering and just wanna know more about the giveaway. *sigh* Okay, fine.
As stated before, EVERY MONTH they hold a giveaway for a free pair of lenses.
How do you join this wonderfully awesome giveaway? I'll tell you.
-  Post this link on any social networking site. Different websites count as one entry, only one entry (link) per website. Very easy so far.
- Advertise! Write ten lines about their shop, their products and the giveaway! Still easy.
- Add three photos of their lenses (or the ones you'd like to get if you win). Wow. Such easy.
- Add their banner to your page (here's a list of their banners). A banner won't hurt your blog.
- Publish your giveaway link or Solution-Lens' page link on a popular forums such as here and here.
- Comment on their giveaway page with your entries.
Woah. It's that simple, brah.

So if you haven't already went to the website. click on the banneroo down below or the one on my side to go to their giveaway page.

Seriously if I haven't convinced you that this website is awesome then I spent two hours writing a thorough review/advertisement on the website for nothing. *tears stream down my face*
