REVIEW: Murders and Cats Mini Haul from YOYOMelody (Old review from 11/23/14)

10/22/2015 Edit: This review was made on November 23rd, 2014 and some of the links could be outdated. I am currently in the process of transferring my reviews from tumblr to this blog as backup. From now on, I will be posting reviews both on tumblr and here. If you'd like early access on reviews though, more than likely they will be on my tumblr.

Hello! I’m doing my first review over a few items from a clothing site called YOYOMelody (or “You’re On Your Own Melody)! They not only sell casual wear, but also dresses for special ocassions, accessories, and shoes.
Note: This is not a sponsored review, but this is an affiliate of mine and I earned all of my store credit.

Stock Photos:
So I guess you can say the theme of this haul is "Murderers and Cats” which describes my aesthetic

Total: $59.70 + free shipping (because they had a free shipping on +$50 orders promotion for a while). I got it all for free because I had $60 store credit!
Shipping and Packaging:

I promise the packaging was 10x more neater than this; I just decided to open the packaging before the review I made my order on the 9th but because of how there were complications (I had to pay through Paypal and Paypal was refusing to process because the total was 0) I had to message YOYOMelody about it and they processed the order themselves so I think this probably delayed the order a bit. My order was finally shipped out on the 16th and it arrived to me on the 27th. They estimate shipping to take 10 - 25 days so the shipping was pretty fast! The clothes arrived in a regular grey bag and all the items were individually wrapped in their own plastic wrap so nothing could be damaged or dirtied in the process.
My Photos:
Worn Photos
I apologize for the poor quality; the lighting was not in my favor
This is the sweater that fit me the least comfortably - specifically around the upper arms. It’s a batwing jumper so the sleeves tightens around the upper arms and then then loosens up on the lower arms. As far as the bust, the measurements of it is 51 inches, which is my exact bust measurements, so I did stretch it a bit but it loosened up after a few minutes and it started to fit perfectly.
This sweater was the most comfortable of the sweaters! It wasn’t too snug on me and stretches better despite it being the same material as the other sweater. It is also a batwing sweater but it doesn’t tighten around the upper arms like the other sweater. It is comfortable to sleep in but what I found out days after I took pictures is that when I slept in it and kept stretching it, I tore the collar (the neck hem) of the sweater. It’s a quick fix by simply removing the entire collar in general (which I’ve done to shirts whose collars ripped) and they are way more comfortable after that. This isn’t a huge issue for me but the collar tearing is something that should be expected if you’re stretching this sweater out and sleeping in it.
I apologize for the poor quality of this photo. I didn’t take a nice photo of these tights so I had to zoom in and crop a mirror selfie So these tights stretch a lot! Their max stretch (hip measurements) is supposed to be 39 inches. I forgot my hip and waist measurements but I assume it’s around 46 - 50 inches - so it stretches farther than its given measurements.
These tights are the same deal as the Harley Quinn tights when it comes to how it stretches! And oddly enough they make my legs look thinner.
Side note: I only took front photos of these items because their backs were either plain or (in the blood tights’ case) the print was repeated!
Final Verdict:
Shipping and packaging: 10/10 - The shipping was fast and nothing was damaged!
Items/Quality: 7/10 - I personally love these items so much! But for the sake of this review, I did have to lower the rating because of how the Christmas kitty sweater’s collar ripped (and I’m sure the cat family sweater will do the same eventually). There were a bunch of loose strands at the cuffs of the sweaters. Both tights quality were nice and the material was soft for it being just elastic
Comfort/Fit: 8/10 - The sweaters were a tiny bit itchy because of the fabric used. As I mentioned above, with the cat family sweater I did have discomfort around the upper arms area and it didn’t stretch as good as the Christmas kitty sweater did. The tights did fit me comfortably depending on where I let them sit (ex: if I let the Harley Quinn tights sit above my waist, they’re not as comfortable, but if they sit right on my waist or on my hips, they’re comfortable).
Customer service: 10/10 - They are an affiliate of mine so their customer service is always kind and helpful to me!
Plus size friendly: This is something I will be adding to my clothing stores reviews from now on! I won’t give a rating but just a little info about the store’s size rage. When it comes to YOYOMelody, I find that the store is plus size friendly depending on what you’re looking for. For shorts and pants, you might not find anything plus size friendly, but as you can see their tights are very forgiving and stretch a lot. Their oversized sweaters are also very forgiving and can fit those who are plus sized.
Overall: 8/10 - I am pleased with these items and service and I will be shopping at YOYOMelody again! Expect another YOYOMelody review in December!
A big thank you to YOYOMelody for being a wonderful affiliate of mine and also letting me host a giveaway! Right now I am hosting a YOYOMelody giveaway for $20 store credit on their site; for every 50 participants, there is a new winner. So the more participants the more winners!

REVIEW: Keutokki Mini Haul (Old review from 11/9/2014)

10/22/2015 Edit: This review was made on November 9th, 2014 and some of the links could be outdated. I am currently in the process of transferring my reviews from tumblr to this blog as backup. From now on, I will be posting reviews both on tumblr and here. If you'd like early access on reviews though, more than likely they will be on my tumblr.

Hello, I’m back with ANOTHER super duper uber late review. I probably received these items months ago and was about to not review these at all but considering that I have another Keutokki review coming up and I already took review pictures for these items long ago, I figured, why not post it? The items I will be reviewing are thigh high sockscat & fish stud earrings, and floral bow fromKeutokki. You can get these items at a discounted price by using my code rinihime for 12% off - they even have free international shipping!
~Review below the cut~
So I want to point out that Keutokki is a sponsor of mine but this is an unsponsored review! I bought these items with my own money.
Another thing I want to say is that the details of this are a little fuzzy and another factor on why this review took so long to make is because I messed up so bad. Keutokki items get shipped out separately because they’re from different suppliers. I received my socks first and then accessories. At first I thought I only got the bow and I waited for a week or two and then I realized the earrings were so tiny they were buried under the bow in the packaging. I am literal trash. Therefore, I can’t say the EXACT shipment time, but I assume it took two weeks for the socks and three weeks for the bow and earrings. Now for pictures~
The items (stock photos)
These socks were $5, but I got them for $4.40 with my discount
Socks description:
Materials: 97% Cotton, 3% Terylen
Socks Length: 49 cm (approx)
Four Colors: Black, White, Grey, Blue.
One size fits most.

These earrings were $2.25 but with the discount they were $1.98
Item description: Material: Alloy
The bow was $3 but with my discount it was $2.64. However, Keutokki changed the price of this bow and it is now $4.50
Item description:
Material: Ribbon
Length: 10 cm / 3.9"

My order in total was $9.02 because there’s free shipping. :D So cheap~
The Packaging:
The socks
It was shipped in a thin white bag. Nothing fancy and nothing was damaged. The bag might have been wrinkled a little more before I took the pictures because I was throwing it around like nothing. Oops ;~; Nothing was wrapped around the contents (socks).
The accessories
The accessories were wrapped more safely in a bubble wrap lined envelope. As you can see, the accessories were wrapped in layers of foam wrap so nothing could be damaged.
Items out of their packaging:
Socks
Accessories
They were shoved in the same tiny zip lock bag so for weeks I thought the earrings were missing. The bow was a little bent out of shape but nothing that wasn’t fixable.
Bow
Keutokki gives you the option to chose what form of attachment you can have (clips, alligator clips, hair elastic, etc..). I chose the alligator clip because it holds best on my hair and won’t break as easy as the other backings/attachments.
The earrings
They’re so tiny omg. They came with their own backings and an extra pair of backings in case you lose the first (which I did in the middle of taking the review pictures, oops).
Worn Photos
Socks
The socks are advertised as “thigh highs” but even on the model they look like over the knee socks, which is how they fit on me. They’re more comfortable on me if I wear them below the knee because of how BIG AND MUSCULAR MY CALVES OF STEEL ARE. So you can argue these socks are pretty plus size friendly and they stretch a bunch. In the stock photos their material looked very stocking-like? But their material is much like the normal socks you would use with tennis shoes (so the material is thick).
The earrings
I love the basic design/shapes of these earrings. They’re kinda those “lazy” earrings you put on just for the sake of having earrings on but don’t know what actually goes with them. I doubt the posts on these are hypoallergenic so I won’t be able to wear these earrings for long periods of time unless I want irritation, redness, and pimples around my ear. ;~;
The bow
It’s a bow *there that’s it, that’s the review*  Just kidding. The ribbon of the bow is silky smooth. The colors are accurate to the stock photo and the alligator clip is very strong and sturdy; I don’t see the clip breaking anytime soon.
Final verdict:
Shipping/Packaging: 9.5/10 -  Items were shipped out about 13 days after I placed my order because the owner was on vacation, so there was a delay. The items came on the expected times (they even mention that clothing ships out before accessories). Nothing was damaged. HOWEVER, I don’t like the system of having my items shipped out at different times. This is not the store’s fault whatsoever and this isn’t criticism towards them, this is just my personal preference.
Quality: 10/10 - The quality of the items were as expected and they were priced reasonably. The socks seem like they will hold up for a long time and not rip or have holes anytime soon. The bow is well-made and wasn’t coming undone.
Customer service: 10/10 - I didn’t mention this earlier, but I did have a little contact with customer service because initially my order did not go through. I was refunded back my money so I was able to place the order once again. I’ve also talked to the owner a couple of times before and after this so I can vouch on how nice and friendly their customer service is.
Overall: 10/10 - I didn’t have any horrible issues with the store or items. Sure, there was the fact that I had to replace my order, but it wasn’t a huge issue at all. I am looking foward to buy another pair ofknee high thigh high socks.
Once again, these socksearrings, and bow are from Keutokki! They offer free international shipping and you can get a 12% off discount on all items if you use the code rinihime

BODYLINE HAUL: Bloomers, nails, eyelashes, and a purse!

Hello there~ I am finally tending to this mini Bodyline haul/first impression review I should have done weeks ago but I was too busy. ;~; welp
Lil’ disclaimer: This is not a full review, just a little haul. So there aren’t going to be worn pictures of anything! I’m just saying my first impression/thoughts of the items.
Shipping: So on September 17th (a Wednesday) I placed a purchase on these items during Bodyline’s ongoing free AIR shipping promo. Because of how I placed an order after Tuesday, the order took a few days to ship out.  According to the tracking, it shipped out on September 19th and it arrived to my designated address on October 6th, but because of how that address isn’t my actual address, I was not able to be there to take the package so they sent it back to the post office. For the longest time I was confused because the tracking number said “retention” and nothing else and I didn’t understand what that meant at that time so I didn’t know it was in the post until my mom, over a week later, remembered that the post man left a note to pick up the package, -.- welp. Anyway, in short, I was finally able to get my items on October 15th.
Packaging: The packaging wasn’t anything special, everything came in a medium grey bag. Only the bloomers and the purse was wrapped in their own clear plastic bags. Other than that, the two pairs of falsies and false nails were just thrown in there.
The haul:
So I got the pan026 bloomers in off-white (owh)
Stock photo:
These bloomers were $16 but because I used the yen currency, it was ¥1,199
My photo
I wanted bloomers to wear under a dress for a future convention to prevent discomfort while walking for long periods of time, so how they looked wasn’t a huge factor but I also wanted casual looking bloomers to wear as shorts for other styles (fairy kei, maybe? IDK).
Close up of the material
The material threw me off slightly because I didn’t expect polka dots on it (the stock photos aren’t clear enough). The material isn’t too rough, it’s still cheap but it won’t cause discomfort or irritate/cause thigh rub. The bloomers come with adjustable ribbons at both the waist and legs.
The sizing: Bloomers measurements: Length 36cm, Waist 60-100cm
The bloomers surprisingly “fit.” I am able to pull and wear them over my hips (actually I had a bit of a struggle pulling them over my butt but I finally loosened them up enough). My measurements below/under my stomach is 123 cm and my measurements on the widest part of my hips is 130 cm; as you can see, these bloomers stretch a lot.  However, if I was a centimeter or two less I would be able to pull them up with ease. The leg part (holes?) of the bloomers has elastic and stretches wide enough to fit on my thighs. The bloomers themselves are long enough on me to prevent thigh rub.
The next two items I got were two pairs of falsies - eye237 andeye518
Stock photos
These two pairs were $1 each but with the yen trick they were ¥80 each
My photos
From what I can tell, both pairs come with their own glue. They both have a very simple but cute design and they do stand out. I don’t have any close up worn pictures of either but I do have a picture of me wearing eye237 with my Halloween costume.
The false nails - nail056
Stock Photo
These nails were $1 or ¥80
My photo
I love these nails so much but I haven’t worn them yet ;~; They came with their own glue and they seem to be medium length so they aren’t too long. I’m hoping to use these nails eventually.
Finally, the purse - bag144 in red (ora)
Stock photo
The bag was $9 or ¥639.
My photos
The print on one side
The print on the other side
The inside of the purse
So, I noticed they didn’t stuff the bag with anything to prevent it from awkwardly folding/deflating and wrinkling. The straps were also heavily wrinkled, but I guess that’s to be expected from the material (it’s a very.. backpack? type of material). Originally, I wanted the blue version of this and I even had it in my cart ready to go and about to purchase it (along with another set of nails) BUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRANSACTION I NOTICED THE BAG WAS MISSING AND SO WERE THE NAILS. SOMEONE BOUGHT THEM BEFORE I COLD PRESS PURCHASE. I WAS SAD. Anyway, I just settled with the red colorway because the only other color that was in stock was pink and it didn’t stand out. *sigh* But blue is back in stock so I might buy it again ughhh
Anyway, that’s it to my haul! In the end, I’ve spent ¥2,078 or $19.95 (my total would’ve been $28, had I not done the yen trick - so I saved $8.05). I regret nothing.
I hope this helped a little to people looking into these bloomers or Bodyline bloomers in general. There isn’t much online to help understand the sizing of Bodyline bloomers so I was surprised that these bloomers stretched out +30cm more than their stated max size.
I will eventually do another quick Bodyline first impression of shoes I got weeks ago and in the next couple of weeks I will do a first impression (or possible review if it fits) of a Bodyline dress I ordered a few days ago

Anime Matsuri Haul

Ay-yooo so I'm skipping the full Anime Matsuri experience post because I don't have much to bitch about really. It was a mostly positive experience other than the fact that it was highly disorganized. A lot of things were delayed up to an hour or more but that didn't really effect the panels I went to (which was like two). The SNK photoshoot was held back a couple of minutes and had to change locations due to the weather outside. The scanning of badges was a cool idea until it created a long ass single-filed line. A dumb fucking "guard" was hovering over me when I was in line for Reika because he was bitching non-stop about "being against the wall" when there wasn't any room to be against the walls. Like, get your balls off of me, your long leather black coat and wearing black sunglasses indoors makes you look like a douchebag, not scary. Despite the douchebaggery of the people there, I still had fun. I encountered Matthew Mercer (voice of Levi in SNK) near the elevators but was too chicken to go in with him, Reika was right in front of me, later on I got her autograph, and the one of guys from Nightmare was near me but I didn't notice until my cousin pointed it out and they were walking off. oops.
Anyway, that's a bit of my experience.
On to the haul!

I got this Chibi Moon chain for $5 from a vendor. I figured I can get this at the local Asian toy store down my street and get it for the same price or more idk so might as well buy it now

I FUCKING LOVE DEDENNE. I'm becoming reacquainted with Pokemon again and one of the newer Pokemons that caught my eye (besides the obvious Leafeon, Sylveon, and Espurr) was Dedenne. AND I FOUND A LOT OF VENDORS SELLING DEDENNE PLUSHIES. But a lot of them were rip offs. They were selling like key-chain sized (like a handful) plushies for $14 so I was disappointed and was really sad. This one, on the other hand, was $25 and is as large as a medium/large Alpacasso and I ended up buying it because my friend Doan saw the size and price comparison and convinced me because there wasn't a better deal than this.

I promised myself that I needed to come out with at least one or two phone charms and I did so yay. I believe this vendor in the artist alley has either storenvy or an etsy store??? I don't know their name though (I didn't take their card) but yeah this charm was $5 and by Sunday other charms like this one were dropped to $3 I believe.

Once again, another vendor in the artist alley. I promised myself I would by a squishy but a lot of the good ones were gone and there weren't any other vendors selling any squishies so I bought one of the cake squishies. Not all of it is squishy. The top pieces (the star tart, wafer, and fruit) are hard but it's still very fun to squish nonetheless. It's a phone charm as well. It was originally $7 but the artist offered it to me for $6 yay

Buttons. Fucking buttons, mayne. The Cas, Levi, and Harley were from a vendor in the artist alley and were for a dollar each. The Armin, survey corps crest, and Sailor Moon buttons were from a different vendor, each button $2 but buy 3 get them for $5 (wow such save).

Ah and then one of my crown jewels. This print. This artist is just omigosh amazing. He had a lot of Pokemon and Sailor Moon prints and baggies/purses. I got the print for $12. This is the only vendor whose name I know because I got his card

This isn't really the complete haul. I also got a phone charm for my mum and it was a toilet paper roll a cute poop attached to it (my reasoning was because "she wiped my crap when I was little")
Part of my haul is also the Reika autograph I got. Technically, the Reika autograph I have isn't the one I got signed. The one I got signed belonged to my friend who pre-ordered it and put it under my name because she couldn't be there. BUT since my other friend got two Reika autographs and I did her dead Marco makeup (that shit can go for $15 - $25 dollars ayyy) she gave me one of her autographs so yaaaayyyy!
And that's all of my haul (I think)!
